There is a phrase commonly heard at AA meetings, “You have to give it away to keep it.” A lot of work goes on behind the scenes of an A.A. meeting in Manitoba and the people making these things happen are A.A. members volunteering to be of service.
This service offers many rewards: it helps us stay sober; and re-learn things like gratitude, humility, trust, and love; we receive the sense of accomplishment that comes from giving back what was so freely given to us.
We need your help to carry the message to the still-suffering alcoholic, support our members, and contribute to our fellowship. Below is a list of service opportunities available in Manitoba (Area 80) to enhance your sobriety.
